Experiments on the Notation of Shapes

Experiments on the Notation of Shapes is a generative video where several shots of Hong Kong cityscape are used as coordinates for sound synthesis. Through the creation of an algorithm that traslates the skyline into the shape of a sound wave, footage of urban planning and architectural elements are used as a musical score. The city space is presented as a sculptural playground. This translation intends to explore the visual structure of such places.
