Action Through Non Action

The performer uses two contact microphones as touch sensors in his left and right arm.The measurement made by the performer while standing in the midlle of the crowd in Mon Kok is presented as a sound recording and the interference of that recording in the video visualization.
The recording consists on the notation of a sequence of touches made by the elements in the crowd when pushing the performer that stands still.

It is a work of interrupted silence in the midlle of a location with extreme noise levels.
The performer just fills a space in a crowd , there is no movement. Even so interaction is maintained , by the impossibility of avoiding contact in such a dense crowd and by the ocupation of space witch inevitably affects the paths of individuals within the crowd. The performance interferes in its own video documentation, while the score is presented in a c print.
